Flowers are one of the most important parts of your wedding day

Art is something you can pass down from generation to generation

In treating yourself to something that will make you smile forever

WE believe:

We're a husband and wife entrepreneurial team living the life we've dreamed of! We're fur-parents to a terrier mutt named Tucker and two tabby cats named Theoden and Thorin (yes we are that nerdy!). Our favorite moments include snuggling up by the fire with a good movie, road trips to our favorite getaways, and cheering on our Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars! Courtney is also mildly (overly) obsessed with Christmas... but we really don't see why that's a problem!

We have been in the wedding industry since 2017 as professional wedding photographers. We love our job and feel so blessed to serve the most amazing couples during the most incredible journey of their lives! One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is seeing our couples relive their wedding day through their photographs. The day goes by so fast and watching them see all the little details they may have missed is priceless. Preserving memories is our passion!

So how did we find ourselves in the flower preservation business? It all started the summer of 2020. We are always looking for ways to make our wedding experience incredible for our couples and as Courtney was researching new ways of doing this, she stumbled upon flower preservation articles. The process fascinated her, and she loved the idea of giving our clients one more thing to cherish forever! So much of the wedding day all happens at one time and it's over before you know it, leaving you with nothing but memories. Now, not only will you have beautiful photographs to remember your day, but you can also preserve your flowers forever as well! She spent 6 months researching and producing pieces until she was confident enough to offer the service to others. On May 10, 2021, we officially launched Flora Creek Place, and the rest is history!

Where did the name
Flora Creek Place
come from?

I come from a long line of artists and entrepreneurs! My great-grandmother, Flora, was an amazing oil painter, seamstress and
all-around crafter. She passed down her artistic talents to my grandfather, my father and myself. She is the matriarch of our artistic family and I knew as soon as I decided to turn this into a business, that her name would be a part of it!

The second half, Creek Place, was the name of our family farm. My childhood is filled with priceless memories on the farm and I attribute a lot of my inspiration to that place. Feeding the cows, exploring the creek beds and four-wheeling over the hay fields, brought me more joy than I can explain. We no longer own that property, but it will always hold a special place in my heart.

The florals in the logo are my favorite part! Each flower represents the birth flower of myself, my father, my grandfather, and my great-grandmother!
Four generations of artists, represented by four beautiful flowers...
Lily of the Valley, Larkspur, Marigold and Iris.
