keep your blooms

Your flowers are more than just pretty petals—they’re memories tied to once-in-a-lifetime moments. Whether they were held during your walk down the aisle, placed beside a loved one’s photo, or gifted during a milestone celebration, those blooms hold meaning. At Flora Creek Place, we specialize in turning those memories into handcrafted resin keepsakes that you’ll treasure for years to come.

Each piece is uniquely designed in collaboration with you. From elegant blocks to functional pieces like trays and coasters, your preserved flowers are styled in resin with your story in mind. You can even include meaningful extras—ribbons, invitations, jewelry, charms, or photos—to make your piece truly personal.

A one-of-Kind Way To

floral preservation in resin

If you've never encountered preservation before, there's a lot of great information for you on this page! Learn about the process, what can happen to your flowers during preservation and when you can expect to receive your order!

Read more about the process on this page!

1.

You can find everything that we offer on our website. We have pre-designed packages or a la carte for your to choose from. While we don't require you to know what you want in advance, it is very helpful for you to have a general idea of what you would like to have made at the time of booking.

Look through our pieces to choose your favorites!

2.

Once you are ready to reserve your date, you can fill out the reservation for booking form on this site! All of your information will be collected and a proposal will be built based on your initial choices. A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are due to secure your date.

Send in your booking request!

3.

About a week or so before your event date, we will send you an email with instructions for either scheduling a drop off appointment or on packing and shipping your flowers. Remember, we need your flowers within 24-48 hours of the event!

Send us your flowers!

4.

Once we receive your flowers, the drying process begins! We dry all flowers for 4-6 weeks to ensure all moisture has been removed from the flora. During this time we are unable to "check on them" as removing them can cause them to lose their structure. Patience is key here!

The Drying Process!

5.

Once your flowers have completed the drying process, we will go through your order and design the main pieces you have chosen. Add-on pieces are not given design options but you may make requests for certain colors or flowers to be used in those pieces at the time of design.

The Design process!

6.

We will email you a photo of your design for your approval. If you would like to make any small changes, you can let us know then. Your flowers are at a fragile state, being dried, so multiple design options and changes are not offered. Once you've approved, your final payment is due.

Final Approval!

7.

This process can take up to 5 months to complete. Once a mold is ready, each piece is carefully poured, one layer at a time, every 24-48 hours. This timeframe also includes the time it takes to polish or sand and top coat or flood coat pieces, and the final curing time.

The Pouring Process!

8.

Once all of your pieces are fully cured, they will be photographed and packaged. We will then send you an email to either confirm your address for shipping or send you a link to schedule a time for you to pick them up!

"Do you only work with fresh wedding flowers?"
Nope! We can preserve any flowers from any occasion!

AND MORE!!!

flowers before and after preservation

This is a FANTASTIC example of how different white flowers can change during the preservation process. Most white flowers, especially roses, will dry in various shades of cream, which is also more pronounced once in resin. This is why we always encourage clients to have a variety of white flowers to allow for more texture and interest in their final pieces.

This is a great example of what can happen with tropical flowers. Proteas often turn brown or orange and anthuriums colors will become dull. White orchids will turn cream and become somewhat translucent.

This is the perfect example for red flowers!!! You can see in this photo that the fresh red roses dried in 3 different shades of red! This is why we can never tell you exactly how your flowers will dry because it's different every time! Although it is more normal for red to dry in the darker shade, like the one on the top left. This is what you can expect.

This is a great example for white calla lilies. White callas will preserve between a dark cream and almost yellow, depending on their original fresh color. These callas were already on the cream colored side, so they turned yellow when preserved. Callas that are more white will turn a dark cream when preserved.

Here's another great example of a red and white bouquet. The red roses preserved darker and the white roses preserved a dark cream color. You will also notice the greenery lightened in color.

frequently asked questions

Q. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND DO YOU ACCEPT FLOWERS FROM OTHER STATES?

We are located in Arlington, Texas but we accept flowers from all over the country! We've even had clients who got married in Mexico, but live in the US, and have a friend or family member fly back with their flowers to deliver them to us. If you will be shipping your flowers to us, we will give you a detailed instructional guide on how to package and ship your flowers safely. Just so you are aware, you will need to ship your flowers overnight for them to survive. This can be very costly, so just be prepared.

Q. WHEN DO YOU RECOMMEND WE BOOK OUR RESERVATION?

As soon as you have your wedding date finalized! We can only accept a certain number of orders each week so the sooner you book, the better. Especially if you are getting married during the more popular Spring and Fall seasons (March-June and September-November) as these dates can fill up very quickly. We do accept last minute bookings and can even accept flowers within 5 days of the wedding, if space is available.

Q. IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT?

The short answer is, yes. Due to the amount of time and resources required, all wedding bouquet preservations and recreations require the purchase of a main piece or a package. Memorial orders are not subject to the purchase requirements, however if the order is less than the $150 retainer fee, then the entire amount is due at the time of booking.

Q. hOW SOON AFTER THE WEDDING DO YOU NEED MY FLOWERS?

As soon as possible! Ideally, within 24 to 48 hours so the flowers are still in the best shape. About a week or so before your date, we will email you a scheduling link to schedule a time for yourself or someone you know to drop your flowers off. We do allow Sunday afternoon dropoffs, unless it's a holiday. If you are shipping your flowers you will need to ship them either the next morning or, if you're getting married on Saturday, on Monday morning. You will need to ship your flowers overnight so ensure their survivability. We will send you a detailed instructional guide on how to package them correctly.

Q. HOW LONG DOES THE entire PROCESS TAKE?

From the moment we get your flowers, you can expect the entire preservation process to take about 6 months. This timeframe depends on many things, including the flower drying process, client communication during design, the amount of pieces being made, and the availability of the chosen molds at the time of approval.

Q. HOW WILL MY FLOWERS LOOK AFTER THE PRESERVATION PROCESS?

Color variations will occur naturally. Pinks, reds and purples often darken while some colors lighten. White flowers can turn cream and may appear translucent in the final artworks. Bruises can also be common in flowers and will only show themselves after they have been placed in the resin. The best way to avoid this is to make sure you have chosen a florist who uses high quality flowers and to take extra good care of your flowers before they make it to me.
Due to the nature of flowers having air pockets, some bubbles may occur. We do what we can to minimize bubbles, but as resin cures it can create bubbles from air pockets that are not visible until it is too late to fix them. These bubbles can have a "water-bubble" like appearance that can be really pretty! You will also see bubbles along the edges of the piece. Due to the nature of resin, over time it will take on a slight amber coloring.

Q. cAN YOU PRESERVE MY ALREADY DRIED BOUQUET?

Yes! We can absolutely preserve your dried flowers! Please email us a photo of your dried florals so we may asses them to make sure they will preserve well with our art mediums. We do offer a 10% discount for providing your own dried florals. We will not be able to enhance their color, shape, or condition. We also offer a bouquet remake option; re-create your bouquet with fresh florals! Reach out to learn more about this process!

Q. I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU! HOW CAN I BOOK YOU?

We'd love to work with you too! When you're ready to book, head to our booking page and fill out the form. You will receive an email within 24 hours with a proposal for services. Once you sign the contract and pay your non-refundable retainer you'll be officially booked!

caring for your preserved pieces

All resin will develop an amber glow over time. We use a high quality, VOC free resin that has UV inhibitors that may prolong or prevent this. Finding a place to display your pieces, away from direct sunlight will also help. However, we think that this does not take away from the preservation and looks as if your flowers are basking during golden hour. We want to be as transparent as possible with this part of resin preservation. Please note that all resin pieces are for display only. We do not recommend keeping resin pieces within reach of children or pets. Resin pieces are heavy and should be treated with care. You must also take care when dusting or cleaning you pieces. Never use abrasive cleaners and only use soft, microfiber cloths to wipe them down. All orders are given a Care Card with instructions and a video describing how to use, and care for, functional pieces.

*Wedding Clients: Wedding orders require the purchase of a main piece or a package. Add-ons cannot be purchased alone. $150 non-refundable retainer is due at booking to secure your spot.

*Memorial Clients: There is no minimum order, but if your order is less than the $150 retainer, then full payment of your order is required up front.
